I teach 5th grade here at Canyon Rim. My partner teacher is Dodie Fraughton. I have a degree in Human Development from the University of Utah and a Masters Degree in Teaching from Willamette University in Oregon. I have taught in Oregon and in Utah.

I grew up in New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. I am glad to be settled here in Utah because I love all of the seasons here, especially fall and winter! I have a wonderful husband who I met at the University of Utah and we are both big Utah fans! Pretty much every Saturday in the fall we are either at a football game or watching one. We have a puppy named Romey who has a lot of energy and keeps us very busy. I love being outdoors and spend most of my free time with family and friends. I also enjoy reading and traveling and I am learning how to sew. (This has proven to be a long and arduous process!)

I thoroughly enjoy teaching at Canyon Rim and I think it offers students a great environment for learning. I'm always looking forward to meeting new students and getting to know them and their families.
