David Havell

David Havell graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Dave has worked as a senior electrical design engineer with GE and L3 Communications. As a licensed professional engineer, Dave owns a product development and engineering services company. Dave has had a vast amount of engineering experience, particularly in the design aspects of the field.

Dave is the father of four boys, three of whom will be attending Canyon Rim Academy this fall. As you could imagine with four boys, Dave has had many opportunities to volunteer in the community as both a scout leader and as a coach of several sports. Dave is always willing to serve, and many children have benefited from his willingness to work with them and to teach them.

Dave’s goal for Canyon Rim Academy is to provide an environment that encourages the students of CRA to develop the ability and desire to think logically and critically. His commitment to this endeavor runs deep and is tied to his belief that students are generally underdeveloped and under challenged. Establishing Canyon Rim Academy as a school that provides the opportunity for every student to maximize their potential is a priority for Dave.
