I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten at CRA! After graduating from the University of Utah with a BS in Elementary Education, I taught first grade for three years and loved every minute of it. I kept my love of the classroom alive by volunteering and substituting at the school while raising my five children. I taught in hourly positions in kindergarten, third and fifth grade. While working in the I Can Read Program, a passion for teaching reading was ignited. Six years ago I went back to school for my early childhood license.

My love of little people and a passion for teaching reading make kindergarten a perfect fit for me. Now, having taught kindergarten for five years, I love all areas of the kindergarten curriculum. Everywhere I go I look for children who might be kindergartners. I can’t wait to meet a new classroom of friends where we will grow and learn together!
