Hi, My Name is Lisa Margetts and I am excited to be teaching at Canyon Rim for the third year! I've got many adventures full of learning and fun planned for the year.

I love the outdoors, especially when the weather is warm: water-skiing, boating, biking, and having picnics are just a few of those activities I love. Cookies 'n cream is my favorite ice cream and root beer is my favorite soda! My family is extremely important to me, and I enjoy spending time with them. I'm the youngest of five kids and I have nine nieces and nephews, so there are always people around at my house. I grew up in Salt Lake City just around the corner from Canyon Rim. I've been married to my sweet husband Tyler for just over a year. We now live just down the street from Canyon Rim! From the time I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher because of my love for children and for learning. First grade is my very favorite because the world opens up when a child learns to read. I can't wait for a wonderful year full of smiles, laughter, and learning!
