I am Liz VanLeeuwen, and as the librarian at Canyon Rim Academy, I get to hang out in the BEST place! I am not only surrounded with wonderful books, but also get to see all the students in the school every week as they come to the library! You can never be sad when you have great books and even greater kids filling your life!
I have been a teacher/educator for over 25 years, and love being a librarian. My goal is to help EVERY child realize that they can read, and have fun doing it! I hope the library will become a favorite place for CRA-ers to visit. I’m always there to help with book (or any other) problems.
When I’m not at school, I love being with my family, learning new things, creating, sewing, cooking, traveling, music, being in the outdoors………….oh, and of course – READING!
Reading is the ultimate adventure! Be sure to make every day a reading day!
