My name is Kirsten Williams and I am very excited to be teaching second grade this year at CRA! I had an amazing second grade teacher who inspired me to become a teacher myself, so I am thrilled to have come full circle. This will be my sixth year teaching and I have also taught both kindergarten and first grade, in addition to interning in a third grade and a fifth grade classroom.

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, which is where my parents and two sisters currently live. I moved here about a year ago from Portland, Oregon and am still getting used to the snowy winters of Utah! I danced for several years when I was younger and still enjoyed that creative outlet when I can. I also like to get outside and hike or camp, enjoy learning new things and I love getting caught up in a good book. Traveling is one of my all-time favorite hobbies and teaching is one of my all-time favorite passions in life.

I love working with children and look forward to watching the growth in the wonderful children in my class. I have high expectations and encourage my students to become welll-rounded, free-thinking individuals that achieve more than they thought they were able. We have a fun time together and I look forward to another great year!
