This job provided extensive experience in nonprofit higher education accounting, financial reporting, financial operations, budgeting, long range planning, endowment management, project management, tax compliance, board relations.


 In accordance with Utah Code 53G-7-401 & Utah Code 53G-7-402, Canyon Rim Academy shall establish an audit committee. An audit committee is defined as a standing committee appointed by the charter school governing board. Its members will be composed of three members of the board and at least one or more members of the public who has acquired related education and or work experience that can provide assistance to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of the local education agency governance, risk management, internal controls and the efficiency of school operations.

All members of the committee shall sign and date a conflict of interest form on a yearly basis. These forms will remain with the Canyon Rim Academy administration and will be available upon request.

Committee membership information shall be published on the school website with the names, roles, and contact information of each member. The committee agendas will not be published.
