Band & Orchestra

Band and Orchestra classes are offered to our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. Participation is optional. Students may choose to play a band instrument or a string instrument of their choice. 

Class Schedule

Classes are held twice a week for 45 minutes—one time during the regular school day and one time after school. Band and Orchestra classes are taught by teachers that are trained in these specific fields of study. Participation in this program is a year-long commitment. Students are also encouraged to practice at home.

4th grade classes are held Monday, 3:15-4:00 PM and Thursday, 2:30-3:15 PM
5th & 6th grade classes are held Monday, 2:30-3:15 PM and Thursday, 3:15-4:00 PM

Instrument Rental

Our school owns many instruments, but if there is more interest than we can accommodate you may rent an instrument through a local music store. A music instruction book specific to their instrument of choice must also be purchased.

Students Not in Band/Orchestra

Students that choose not to participate in band and orchestra instruction will have a study class during the time the other students attend the music classes.
