Hello, I am Chelsie VanDerwerken, and I am thrilled to be here at Canyon Rim Academy teaching Kindergarten! I believe learning is an adventure, and I am so excited to get to share this adventure with each of you!
I love anything with music - playing the piano, organ, guitar, and singing. I also enjoy reading, whether to learn new things or explore other worlds. I love spending time with my family, including my 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Being physically active energizes me. I like outdoor cycling, basketball, and being outside. I graduated from Brigham Young University with my degree in Elementary Education. I absolutely love teaching and look forward to learning and growing together!Thank you so much!
