Hello Canyon Rim families! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing community as the Academic Director. I started my teaching career here at Canyon Rim in 2007 and truly believe that this environment is one in which students and faculty alike can thrive.
My education includes a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, K-6 Teaching License from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a graduate certificate in Reading from the University of Kansas. Additionally, I am a State-certified K-12 Literacy Specialist. I am committed to providing a nurturing learning environment for students, and believe that open communication with both faculty and families is the key to success.
I have lived all over the country, but feel truly lucky to call Utah my home. I enjoy traveling, skiing, reading, and simply taking advantage of all the state has to offer with my daughter, Nora, and our dog, Annie.
