Hi! My name is Maddie Lee, and I'm thrilled to be teaching 1st grade at Canyon Rim Academy! I'm originally from Illinois and moved to Utah to attend Utah State University. I graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Data Analytics in 2026. Teaching has been my goal since I was in 2nd grade! Working alongside my students to create a classroom where kindness and curiosity thrive means so much to me.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy trying new recipes, reading mystery novels, playing the piano, and exploring the outdoors with family and friends. Hiking, camping, and rocking climbing are some of my favorite outdoor activities. I love traveling and have a special place in my heart for Hong Kong, where I lived for a semester in college. I love sharing my passion for learning about the world's different cultures with my students.
