Canyon Rim holds many fond memories for me. I attended Canyon Rim Elementary growing up, and two of my children attended here as well. I am so happy to be back home and to work with the amazing students and teachers here at the now, Canyon Rim Academy.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with a certificate in Administrative Assisting and a certificate in Child and Family Advocacy. My passion has always been in community service and community building. I have worked as an Elementary Media Specialist/Library Teacher in Davis School District for 10 years, and as an Elementary Secretary in Granite School District. I have also worked for the Granite Education Foundation and the Davis Education Foundation coordinating service projects, literacy events, and recognitions.
My favorite things to do in my spare time are fill out paperwork and rearrange furniture. If those are not available, I LOVE to play the piano, hike, and do yardwork. Being with children, creating, learning, and laughing bring me the greatest joy. I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 4. Family is my first priority.
