I am excited to be teaching the STEM specials class at Canyon Rim Academy! I earned my bachelor's degree from Utah State University in Graphic Design and Political Science in 1999. My first job after college was with an educational software company, where I designed and illustrated user interfaces and graphics. While working there, I also learned how to program educational games.
Throughout college, my time at the software company, and my years as a stay-at-home mom, I worked as a snowboard instructor at Park City. After 26 years—some seasons full-time and others part-time—I decided to pursue a new career in elementary education. I worked as a paraeducator at Morningside Elementary, teaching science, math, and working with small reading groups, while also working on my Master's degree. I finished my degree in Elementary Education and got my teaching license in the spring of 2026.
I am thrilled to begin my teaching career at Canyon Rim Academy and can't wait to explore, create, and discover with my students through STEM!
