Daisy Mastroianni

Student Support Director

With nearly 30 years in education, I've had the incredible opportunity to teach at every level—elementary, middle, and high school—across a variety of subjects. My passion for education has taken me and my family all over the world, from California to Japan, Italy, and Thailand, before settling here in beautiful Utah four years ago.

Beyond the classroom, I've dedicated my career to supporting students' growth, not just academically but socially and emotionally. I have post-graduate certifications in school counseling and neuropsychology, and I've worked extensively with high-risk students, helping them develop the tools they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. I'm also the co-author of a curriculum on mindset and grit in math (grades K-12), which is now taught in schools across the country! In the summers, I work as a coach and trainer, implementing leadership programs in schools across the country. For the past 6 years I have also trained educators on ways to reduce anxiety, anger and violence in schools. I feel incredibly lucky to have had such a diverse career in education, and I'm always eager to learn more when it comes to supporting students, families and teachers.

When I'm not working with students and educators, you'll probably find me hiking, cooking, reading, or traveling with my husband and four amazing kids. And if you hear laughter echoing down the halls—that's my favorite sound.

I'm so excited to be part of the Canyon Rim Academy community and look forward to supporting our students and families in every way possible!
